• America First means prioritizing American citizens—regardless of skin color—before giving taxpayer-funded benefits, jobs, or housing to immigrants, especially those here illegally.

• Supporters see it as fairness, not hate: taking care of one’s own citizens before extending resources abroad.

• For many, these slogans also connect to Christian values: faith, morality, and the guidance of God in society.

Supporters reject accusations of racism outright. 

They see the claims as slander meant to discredit conservatives, patriots, and Christians who want the best for their country.
